CAN the glitz and glamour of a fashion show be in line with environmentally friendly measures? The organisers of an eco-fiber fashion show in Kuching on Saturday thinks it can, but only with a change in mindset.
On display were textiles made from refined bamboo, colour from water base dyes and designs inspired by the rainforest. What was not on display were diamonds mined from some under-developed country or fur of any kind.
