Football challenge

There will be a football tournament dubbed ‘5th Football Tournament of Dato K. Pathmanaban 2010’ jointly organised by the Malaysian Indian Football Association (MIFA) and the Johor Baru Indian Football Association (JBIFA) with 10 states participating at the UTM, Skudai Campus, Johor Baru today from 8am onwards. The third and fourth placing match at the UTM, Skudai Campus is at 2.30pm and the finals will be played at 3pm while the prize giving and closing ceremony will at 5pm on Sunday. Prostate awareness

There will be a Prostate Cancer Awareness Campaign at the Orthopaedic Foyer Clinic, Policlinic Building, Sultanah Aminah General Hospital today and tomorrow from 8am until 5pm. Memory walk

The Johor Baru Alzheimer’s Disease Support Association (JOBADA) will organise a 2.5km walkaton programme ‘Memory Walk’ next month at Hutan Bandar, Johor Baru to raise funds for its activities in conjunction with ‘World Alzheimer Day 2010’ on Sunday from 7am onwards with tickets priced at RM20 per person.
