THE Federal Government’s adoption of a programme that promotes intelligence, nurtures talent and advocates responsibility called PINTAR has managed to reduce disciplinary and bully cases by 18% in 207 participating schools last year, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop.
He said the programme also improved attendance in school by 8%, while literacy rate among the pupils increased by 34% during the same period.
