JOHOR BARU: Working mothers are encouraged to breastfeed their newborns for the first six months to boost their growth, immune system and create bonding between mother and child.
Sultanah Aminah General Hospital deputy director Dr Izam Sulaiman said mothers nowadays were too busy to breastfeed and relied on formula milk to supplement their children’s needs.
