THE Malaysian Amateur Athletic Union (MAAU) has hailed the 100m win by Sarawakian athlete Ambrose Jilom in the Asean School Games in Bukit Jalil as a promising result and will meet his family members soon to make plans to groom the athlete for the next two SEA Games.
At the meet last Thursday, Ambrose clocked 10.77 seconds in the boys event to erase the old mark of 10.78 seconds set by Franklin Buruni of Indonesia in Bangkok last year.
