HFMD cases may increase due to variable weather


HAND, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) is expected to increase over the next few months due to the state’s weather change, said Penang Health, Welfare, Caring Society and Environment Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh.

“The change from hot to cool is because of the rainy season due to the southwest monsoon and the increase of HFMD is normal.
