THE Miri City Council (MCC) has won the prestigious Sarawak Chief Minister’s Quality Award 2009, defeating 149 participating federal and state agencies.
Its mayor Lawrence Lai received the award from Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib during a presentation ceremony at a civil service conference in Kuching yesterday.
