A glorious past

ANTHONY JOHN DRUCE is one of the few surviving pioneer administrative officers recruited during the colonial time. If his illustrious and colourful career in the civil service is recorded, he would be a living history on the evolution of the country’s administration.

Anthony, who turned 80 last month, had served two different governments - the colonial government and the Malaysian government.
