LONGHOUSE dwellers in rural Sarawak have been assured that they will not lose their cultural identity and heritage when the state government redevelops their longhouses using modern concepts.
Social Development and Urbanisation Minister Datuk Seri William Mawan Ikom said the government was in the process of drawing up blueprints for several models of modern longhouses for the people to choose from.
