THE livelihood of hawkers, who previously operated just outside the Penang Botanic Gardens’ entrance, have been in limbo since they moved into the new RM1mil hawker centre, about 500m away.
Yeoh Chin Hin, 55, who claims to represent 16 hawkers, said business had dropped to about 80%.
