Move to curb snatch-theft


JOHOR BARU: Police are taking their war against snatch thieves in the state a notch higher by offering rewards to the public and policemen who apprehend these criminals.

Johor police chief deputy Comm Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said that the reward, in the form of commendation letters, could encourage people to be alert and help in the fight against crime.
