Water disruption

THERE will be a temporary water supply disruption in several areas in Selangor on July 6, 8 and 10 due to ongoing works by Syabas involving pipe shifting and installation of water balance meters in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Date correction

THE Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre in Jalan Ampang will be having its public forum on Sunday, July 5, and not July 8 as printed earlier. The forum topic is Men’s Health and Wellness to be held from 2pm to 4pm at the auditorium, 8th floor, medical consulting suite of the medical centre. Rugby game

COME watch the revival of the Victoria Institution (VI) & Vajiravudh College (VC) of Bangkok, Thailand, on July 6. They last played in 1969, and the friendly game will be played at the VI field in Kuala Lumpur. The tentative programme starts at 3pm with reception. The rugby game will be from 4pm to 5.40pm. Cancer talk

AS part of its series of awareness talks on Traditional Chinese Medicine in collaboration with Tung Shin Hospital, the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) will be having its next talk titled Cancer Treatment on July 4 from 3pm to 5pm at its Centre for Extension Education, PJ Campus. THE Staff Club of The Body Shop will be organising a Blood and Organ Donation drive with the Malaysian Red Crescent on July 5 at The Summit Subang USJ Shopping Centre, Lot GX03, Ground Floor (in front of Point B departmental store) from 11am till 5pm. There will be fun activities and health talks organised by the Malaysian Red Crescent.
