Workshop sheds light on gender equality

THE famous saying ‘behind every successful man is a woman’ should be rephrased to ‘beside every successful man, there is also a successful woman working together.’

This suggestion was made by Penang Women, Family and Community Development committee chairman Lydia Ong Kok Fooi during her speech at a gender equality workshop at a hotel in Penang on Saturday.
