Hospice training

KASIH Hospice Care Society (KHC) provides training to all who are interested in hospice care, whether or not they eventually become its volunteers. The 14th Basic Hospice Training Course will be held on June 13 (2.30pm-6pm) and June 14 (9am-6pm), at 7, Jalan 14/29, 46100 Petaling Jaya. Topics include principles of hospice care, essential skills in assisting patients and communication, facing changes in life, death meditation. Training will be conducted through lectures, self-reflection, group work, demonstrations and practical sessions. The talks are in English. Admission is RM40 inclusive of reading materials, lunch and tea.
