MALACCA: The Prisons Department is developing a RM50mil industrial training institute in Jasin to equip prison inmates with skills for their re-entry into society.
The facility on 75.2ha in Lipat Kajang would accommodate 1,000 inmates before their release, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam.
