OWNERS of business premises have been reminded to ensure that their fire-fighting equipment are functional at all times as they can be fined and jailed if they failed to do so.
Penang Fire and Rescue Services Department director Ahmad Izram Osman said they must regularly inspect these equipment to ensure that they were functional.
