RENOWNED for its distinct beauty and said to be one of the biggest marine fishes, the billfish is under serious threat of extinction as it is highly sought after among anglers and netted on a mass scale by fishermen.
Its diminishing population has become the prime concern of the Malaysian Angling Association (PeMM).
