Ipoh family seeks help to find missing father


IPOH: A family from Taman Pulai Heights is seeking help from the public to find their father, who has been missing since Tuesday (March 11).

Dr T. Ashmitha, 31, said her father R. Thinakaran, 63, left their house at about 1.30pm two days ago and has not returned.

"He told us that he was going to a physiotherapy centre in Tambun for his backache.

He drove out in a grey Honda Accord with the registration number KDQ 1116," she said when contacted.

"He was last seen wearing a dark grey collared shirt and light brown shorts.We are extremely worried about his safety because he is also a diabetic and a former heart patient," she added.

Dr Ashmitha said her mother lodged a police report on the same day at about 4.50pm and added that her father had left his mobile phone at home.

"We have also sought the help of the People's Volunteer Corps (Rela) to help us look for him throughout the state and also in Penang," she added.
