Umno political bureau meeting ends, leaders tight-lipped over outcome

KUALA LUMPUR: The Umno political bureau meeting ended late Wednesday (Aug 24) night.

However, leaders remained tight-lipped over what was discussed and the outcome of the meeting.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob had also joined the meeting.

This was the first political bureau meeting after the outcome of Datuk Seri Najib Razak's SRC International case at the Federal Court.

Party president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi chaired the meeting earlier.

Several Umno supreme council leaders were seen leaving in a hurry to avoid the press.
