I STILL remember that back in the early 80s when you are travelling from the north to the south on the North-South Highway, you had to exit at Kamunting, travel along the old road and re-enter at Changkat Jering.

At that time, the North-South Highway was not fully completed yet, including the 800m Menora Tunnel near Jelapang Perak.
