IN A report titled Breaking Down The Barriers to Firm Growth in Europe published in 2012 by European Firms in a Global Economy, it stated that bigger corporations are more productive, pay higher wages, enjoy higher profits and are more successful in international markets.
Consequently, large companies contribute disproportionately more to a country’s economic performance than smaller ones and a country’s economic performance is therefore linked to its number of big corporations.
