Hilltop with scenic straits view welcomes 11 F&B brands to Johor, with room for cosy gatherings, events, corporate meets
DINERS in the southern region can look forward to indulging in a new dining and lifestyle experience with exceptional views in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
Sunway Puteri Hills at Sunway City Iskandar Puteri offers a vista including the Straits of Johor, Singapore and the Jeffrey Cheah Circuit, and dining options with 11 brands making their debut in the state.
Sunsets at the 4.05ha site, with a developed and landscaped area of 2.78ha, is an unforgettable visual experience.
“It is not just a new building with new tenants, it is a bold chapter for our southern region,” said Sunway Malls group managing director Chan Hoi Choy.
The project, built on the philosophy of “Curating Places People Want to Belong”, he said, was Johor’s newest lifestyle destination.
“There are 13 curated F&B hubs, including 11 brands making their debut in the state,” he said during the launch of the hilltop destination at Sunway Puteri Hills Commercial Centre.
Sunway Puteri Hills blends local icons, regional hits and fresh new brands into one vibrant destination.
The lineup includes Made on Monday, a halal minimalist cafe with an art gallery, and an eatery called a’rest Cafe, a flagship outlet serving Asian-Western fusion with private event spaces.
Hock Kee Kopitiam will open Makan-Makan by Hock Kee, its first ocean-view dining and event space for weddings and celebrations.
Kaetsu offers a modern yoshoku-style dining experience with Japanese-Western fusion comfort dishes, premium Wagyu skewers, grilled specialities and handcrafted Japanese desserts.
Reef Seafood Restaurant features a 400-seat, scenic sea-view banquet hall for large group gatherings and events.
Khunya Thai offers premium, regional Thai dining with private rooms for cosy get-togethers and corporate gatherings.
Kenny Hills Bakers, Cili Kampung, and twin-concept Padi Malaya and Padi Villa, will also open outlets in the final quarter of 2026.
“These brands will reinforce Sunway Puteri Hills as a destination that brings together new concepts and regional favourites, strengthening its positioning as a lifestyle and dining hotspot for Johor and the wider region,” said Chan.
He added that transport operator Causeway Link was scheduled to start a new CW75 bus service tomorrow, connecting Sunway Puteri Hills, Sunway Citrine Hub and Sunway Big Box Retail Park to the Second Link Crossing.
Present at the launch were Sunway Malls chief leasing officer Eric Tee, senior leasing director Michael Poh and Southern Region chief executive officer Dr Wong Kong San.
Other guests were Sunway Group executive director Mohd Azharuddin Mat Sah, Sunway City Iskandar Puteri chief executive officer Gerard Soosay and chief operating officer Pu Suan Hau.
