KUCHING: With a mission to inspire a lifelong love of reading, the Big Bad Wolf book sale is returning to Kuching from Aug 25 to Sept 6 with thousands of books at affordable prices.
The 11-day event at Boulevard Shopping Mall provides families, students and educators access to English-language titles to build lasting reading habits, supporting Sarawak's emphasis on strengthening English proficiency.
Big Bad Wolf Books (BBW) senior public relations manager Chloe Lim said the sale offers something for everyone.
"We are thrilled to return to Kuching, where reading, education, and English-language learning are deeply valued.
"Our goal is to bring stories closer to the community and make reading an accessible, engaging part of daily life for Sarawakians of all ages," she said at a media preview here on Thursday (Aug 14) night.
To support the academic community and help build school and institutional libraries, BBW is offering a 5% discount to students and educators with a minimum purchase of three books.
Schools, learning centres and libraries will receive 10% off bulk purchases of RM1,000-RM3,999 or 12.5% off purchases of RM4,000 and above.
Visitors can also look forward to opening day specials on Aug 25, 6.9% Merdeka discount on Aug 31 and buy six, get one free offers on Sept 1-4.
In addition, BBW is offering lucky draw prizes worth RM20,000 in total, with a 10g gold bar as the grand prize.
The BBW sale will be open daily from 10am to 10pm and entry is free.
