AN IT and professional development training company celebrated its 30th anniversary with an initiative that invests in the future of Malaysia’s youth.
The “TrAInocate Career Jumpstart 30” equips underserved young Malaysians with practical artificial intelligence (AI) skills to enhance their employability.
The programme trained 116 youths across three cohorts throughout June, bringing together participants from community colleges, welfare homes and non-governmental organisations.
The initiative culminated in a graduation ceremony.
The programme was delivered in collaboration with Selangor Youth Community (SAY) and support from MyDigital Corporation, the training company said in a media statement.
Created to bridge the gap between digital awareness and workplace readiness, it provided participants with an “AI career toolkit” comprising practical, job-relevant skills increasingly sought-after by employers in today’s digital economy.
The programme focused on four key competencies – generative content mastery, strategic research capabilities, visual communication with Canva AI and workflow chaining.
Participants learned to leverage AI tools to create tailored resumes, cover letters and professional communications, enabling them to stand out in an increasingly competitive and automated recruitment environment, the company said.
Through platforms such as Google Gemini, participants developed skills in conducting in-depth research, analysing industry trends and generating actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
Recognising the growing importance of visual storytelling, the programme introduced participants to AI-assisted design tools that enabled professional content creation for personal branding, entrepreneurship and workplace communication.
Participants were also trained to integrate multiple AI tools into seamless workflows, preparing them for the interconnected digital processes commonly used across modern organisations.
SAY chief executive officer Aiman Syafiq Nazri said their mission was to ensure that every young Malaysian, regardless of background, has the opportunity to thrive in today’s economy.

“It equips young people with practical skills, confidence and exposure to opportunities that can help them pursue careers in the digital and technology sectors.”
Trainocate Malaysia managing director Ruby Kaur said the initiative was a fitting way to commemorate the company’s three-decade journey in developing Malaysia’s digital talent.

“AI literacy is rapidly becoming an essential employability skill.
