OVER 1,000 people of all ages converged at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur, to participate in the 20th Batik Fun Walk 2025.

Walkers received race bibs alongside batik sarong, which they proudly styled and wore during the 2.5km leisurely stroll around the scenic park.

The vibrant turnout transformed the morning into a stunning showcase of Malaysian heritage.

Adding excitement, a best-dressed competition encouraged participants to demonstrate their creativity in styling the heritage cloth.

Many went the extra mile to impress the judges with elaborate and inventive outfits.

Attendees arrived with family and friends, savouring a communal, leisurely day in the park.

Beyond the walk, the event featured a rich line-up of activities, including traditional games, fitness challenges, live entertainment and lucky draws, ensuring a fun-filled celebration of culture, community and national identity.
