THE Great Outdoor Expo 2025 brought thousands of adventure enthusiasts to the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (Maeps) to discover the country’s natural treasures.

From interactive exhibits to adrenaline-pumping activities and eco-tourism showcases, the three-day expo organised by Star Media Group offered a taste of the great outdoors without having to leave Klang Valley.

The expo formed part of The Star Karnival Cuti-Cuti Malaysia, blending tourism with outdoor adventure.

Demonstrations such as vertical climbing and zipline rides gave visitors a chance to show their skills while a camping gear showcase allowed them to try the latest equipment.

More than 150 booths were set up by companies promoting outdoor gear, travel activities and eco-friendly experiences while about 30 mobile stalls served up local favourites.

With Tourism Malaysia as the official collaborating partner, state tourism boards highlighted their natural attractions ranging from Pahang’s sandy beaches to Sarawak’s rainforest trails.

Travel lovers enjoyed exclusive discounts and special packages on heritage tours, island escapes and eco-resorts.
