Culinary tour of Malaysian states


Kwee Zeen at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara serves a Ramadan buffet dinner featuring iconic dishes from seven states in Malaysia.

FOR Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara has lined up an array of captivating offers designed to delight guests.

The hotel’s Kwee Zeen restaurant is presenting a culinary journey with its Ramadan buffet dinner themed “Destinasi Rasa Serantau”, featuring iconic dishes from seven states in Malaysia.

It features Ketupat Sotong from Kelantan, Ketam Alaska with Latok (sea grape) and Oyster Sauce from Kuala Lumpur, Nasi Briyani Buluh Berlauk from Johor, Kambing Golek Nusantara from Selangor, Asam Pedas Ekor Lembu from Melaka, Mee Udang Galah from Penang and Kerabu Latok with Fried Oysters from Perak.

The buffet dinner is available until April 9, from 6.30pm to 10pm. It is priced at RM228+ per adult.

A new feature this year is the durian station, which is served at La Boulangerie’s outdoor area from 7pm to 9pm daily (extra charges apply).

Kwee Zeen will also be serving a Raya Open House buffet lunch on April 10 and 11, from 12.30pm to 3pm, priced at RM138+ per adult.

Guests can choose to extend the celebration to dinner time, from 6.30pm to 10pm, at RM188+ per adult.
