Norwegian recliners now available in Malaysian market

NORWEGIAN recliners renowned for innovation and quality craftsmanship are now available at Harvey Norman’s IPC Flagship Store in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

The Stressless brand was launched by Harvey Norman Furniture division general manager Mark Mah and Asia Ekornes Asia Pacific Co Ltd sales director Mikel Ong.

“We believe the addition of Stressless to our range of recliners will further strengthen Harvey Norman as the top-of-mind destination when it comes to getting a recliner for your home or office,” said Mah.

With over 50 years of experience in delivering exceptional comfort, the recliner takes inspiration from Scandinavian design tradition combined with advanced technology to create furniture that meets the body’s need for movement and support when seated.

Stressless recliners offer functionality with a wide range of patented features — from the glide system that follows your movements, to the PLUS system for correct neck and lumbar support.

Among the recliner models featured at the event were Stressless Sam, Reno, Consul, Max and Sunrise which come with a 10-year guarantee on internal mechanism.

Guests were invited to experience Stressless Sam — a premium heated massage recliner that features Warm Therapy with four levels of heat and Compression Massage with two levels of massage strength.

It is also equipped with state-of-the-art motors that are controlled with a slim remote which is discretely attached to the chair.

“In our busy lives we sometimes find time for only a brief rest. A comfortable armchair with heating and massage features can provide the ultimate relaxation and stress relief, which helps you make the most of the short, me-time you have,” said Ong.
