Kuala Selangor council gears up for year-end floods

A 24-hour emergency hotline for Kuala Selangor residents, a mobile sludge pump to dispel stagnant water and rescue boats are among flood preparation initiatives taken by the Kuala Selangor Municipal Council (MPKS).

Council president Rahilah Rahmat said its disaster operations room’s emergency hotline was open between 8am and midnight.
