Mall brightens festive days with gifts, activities

AMAN Central in Alor Setar, Kedah, is ushering in Deepavali and Halloween with a host of activities.

For Deepavali, the mall will take shoppers on a “Glow of Lights” journey to signify the triumph of light over darkness.

From now till mid-November, visitors who spend RM350 and above in a single receipt will receive sparkling bangles to complete their Deepavali look.

Shoppers who spend RM150 and above in a single receipt will enjoy a free henna session at the central atrium from 3pm to 5pm, Oct 14 to 16 and Oct 21 to 23. Pre-registration is required.

Create your Diwali scene with the colourful kolam decor at the mall, record your video and post it on your TikTok account with the hashtags #ACContest #ACDeepavali and receive a pack of traditional Indian snacks with your video submission, while stocks last.

The 10 best videos will win prizes. The contest ends on Nov 13.

As for Halloween, the mall’s “After Dark Tale” will bring adventure once darkness falls.

First, take a photo with the Boo-Tacular Bear and Pumpkin Halloween outdoor decor which faces Lebuhraya Darulaman near the colourful bubble lift.

Post the photo with the hashtag #ACContest #ACHalloween, follow @amancentral on Instagram and Facebook and upload with the hashtag #ACContest #ACHalloween

There are other lovely treats for children who visit Aman Central this October.

Redeem an exclusive Halloween Trick or Treat Basket filled with scrumptious candies by spending a minimum of RM30 in a single receipt, while stocks last.

Children are also invited to a Spooky Tank Workshop at 4pm on Oct 29.

Register your little ones when you spend a minimum of RM150 in a maximum of two combined receipts.

Aman Junior Club members have to spend only RM50 to book a spot.

Those dressed in Halloween costumes during the workshop stand a chance to win a special mystery prize worth RM100.

Visitors of all ages can also put on their Halloween costumes and join a Halloween Zumba session at the mall’s Peak Fitness gym.

Aman Central senior marcom manager Ken Chin said the mall hoped to foster unity and cheer during these trying times.
