Top in moulding employable grads


Sunway University graduates have been recruited by leading companies in the country in various fields.

Varsity ranks first in national survey that polled opinions of leading firms

Sunway University has come out tops in the National Graduate Employability Index (GE Index) by Talentbank Group.

The survey gauges the employability rate of graduates from universities across Malaysia, based on votes cast by leading employers such as Microsoft, Shopee, IMB, Top Glove, Shell and PETRONAS.

The companies were asked about their preferred recruitment universities, the number of graduates hired from these universities and whether they would continue to choose graduates from the same institutions.

Sunway University received a six-star rating in multiple fields, including Accounting, Arts & Design, Engineering and Hospitality Management.

Shopee Malaysia director Kavan Sito congratulated Sunway University on the results of the Talentbank survey.
