Developer gives RM200,000 to build surau in Bandar Sri Sendayan

MUSLIMS in Ara Sendayan, Bandar Sri Sendayan in Negri Sembilan can look forward to performing their prayers in a conducive environment after Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd donated RM200,000 for the construction of a surau in their neighbourhood.

Matrix Concepts executive chairman Datuk Mohamad Haslah Mohd Amin said the contribution was aimed at creating a harmonious society.

“The surau can also be used as a community centre,” he said after handing over the contribution to surau development committee chairman Taufek Sharom.

Matrix Concepts group executive deputy chairman Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock, who was also present, said the developer always emphasised community development.

Also present was Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun who urged more corporations to emulate the developer in giving aid to help society.
