‘Sibu has higher than average number of autistic children’

THE number of children in Sibu diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum is higher than the international average.

Sibu Autistic Association (SAA) president David Ngu said 70 children were identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) every year in the town, or one in every 68 newborns.
