Ferry’s 50% fare hike too steep, say Sibu residents


Some Sungai Bidut residents and workers say using the ferry is more convenient for them.

Sungai Bidut ferry users in Sibu are feeling the pinch following a 50% increase in fare.

The small ferry carries motorcyclists and other passengers from 6am to 7pm daily, crossing Sungai Igan, a distance of about 1km.
