Grocer in KL mall celebrates grand opening

KUALA Lumpur folks can now enjoy the next-level standard of grocery shopping at Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur.

Spanning over 85,000sq ft and comprising a large fresh food section, dry grocery area, wholesale section and a delicatessen, NSK Grocer @ Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur features a unique concept of a traditional market in a modern and comfortable setting.

Quill City Mall Retails Sdn Bhd senior vice-president Justin Liew said having the first NSK Grocer in Quill City Mall was not only a milestone for the shopping centre, it was also a strategic move to fulfil the discerning demands of modern-day shoppers.

“We are delighted to offer a distinctive and enjoyable shopping experience to the shoppers of today.

“We are always endeavouring to create a convenient shopping experience in one place,” Liew said at the grand opening.

NSK Grocer (KL) Sdn Bhd executive director Loh Teck Wah said Quill City Mall was the ideal location to open its first new outlet as the mall had a wide range of customers daily, comprising office workers, young families and college students.

“This outlet will provide a relaxed shopping experience as well as convenience, especially for those residing or working in the city centre and who are always on the go.”

It offers affordable premium produce from around the world, ranging from fresh produce to poultry items and household goods, said Loh, adding that small business owners could purchase economically-priced bulk items at the wholesale section.

Also present at the grand launch were Versatile Creative Bhd chairman Tan Sri Mohd Shariff Omar and independent director Datuk Seri Ayub Yaakob, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry Kuala Lumpur director Ariffin Samsudin, NSK Group senior adviser Datuk Lim Choon Se and executive chairman CB Lim, Quill Group of Companies executive director Datuk Michael Ong and chief operating officer (business operations) Shirley Leong.

NSK Grocer is located at LG-19-21, at the Lower Ground floor of Quill City Mall.

It opens daily from 9am to 11pm.
