FLOOD victims in Shah Alam who need assistance have been urged to fly either a white or yellow cloth to make it easier for rescuers to identify their location and provide help.Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) and emergency medical services made the call in response to hundreds of requests from those whose homes and neighbourhoods were inundated with floodwaters following record rainfall on Friday and Saturday.

In social media posts, the city council and the emergency and rescue services called on those needing help to fly a white or yellow cloth or T-shirt, respectively, to help rescuers identify their location.
