New RM860,000 jetty for Sibu waterfront

Sibu waterfront has a new jetty structure at Temple Street pontoon wharf.Having a lifespan of 50 years, the new jetty costing RM862,182 is fully funded by the state government through its agency — Sarawak Rivers Board (SRB).

This facility replaces the old ageing structure built in 1970, which was in poor condition.
