Food banks meet essential needs of Ayer Hitam’s poor communities

THE gerobok rezeki or charity cupboard concept is nothing new, but it is certainly helpful to those in need, especially during these tough times.

Ayer Hitam MCA division chief Ling Tian Soon said there were eight of such food banks in the Ayer Hitam constituency, mostly set up by non-governmental organisations and youth groups.
