Appeal for more blood donors in JB

THE Johor Baru chapter of Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) hopes to see more people coming forward to assist hospitals in replenishing their blood banks. Its chairman Chong Ah Ng said the number of people donating blood had dropped by about 40% since the movement control order was imposed last year.

“On top of that, a lot of blood donation drives also had to be cancelled because of the pandemic.
