20,000 mineral water bottles for Guangzhou ‘warriors’

Staff from Spritzer’s subsidiary in Guangzhou, China, unloading the boxes of mineral water to be delivered to the front liners in the fight against the Covid-19 outbreak.

SPRITZER Bhd has sent 20,000 bottles of its mineral water to Guangzhou, China as a show of support the country that has been badly affected by the Covid-19 outbreak.

Its chief executive officer Kenny Lim said the consignment of mineral water arrived at Guangzhou and was distributed to the epidemic prevention stations, hospitals and police stations by its subsidiary.

“We are very concerned about the outbreak in China, especially with our team members having an office there.

“The mineral water is our way to show our respect and support for the front-line ‘warriors’ as they contend with the issue, ” he said.

“It is our way of showing gratitude to all the front-liners for their dedication and tireless efforts in fighting against the coronovirus.

“Wuhan, jia you (Mandarin for “you can do it”), we believe the disease can be controlled soon, ” he added.

Closer to home, Lim said Spritzer also contributed mineral water to the National Disaster Management Agency’s Air Disaster Unit to hydrate the duty and surveillance teams.
