SIBU: Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg says his priority as Chief Minister of Sarawak is to ensure that the state is strong economically.

Speaking at a Chinese New Year gathering organised by Sibu United Chinese Association, he said that as the state was now “quite independent” in its decision-making, it was no longer in a situation where they always had to toe the line.
