In conjunction with National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations, Sunway Velocity Mall is running a “Raise the Flag” campaign until Sept 16.

It also aims to reward its shoppers to celebrate the two months steeped in history for the country.

If you are familiar with the 80s spaceship game, then the “Raise the Flag” digital arcade game will bring back many old school memories.

Similar to the 1980s game, shoppers will shoot down obstacles to gather points. The higher the points, the better the prizes to be won.

Gather all friends and family at Level 1, in front of H&M at the mall to play at the large digital arcade game and win amazing prizes.

Shoppers get to play for free and win vouchers from the exciting array of “31Deals” at the mall.

The “31Deals” features selected 31 outlets at Sunway Velocity Mall that are offering exclusive RM31, RM131, and even RM3.10 deals on selected items!

These deals are all being offered from 50% to 90% off the original price.

Shoppers will also get to play games and win gifts when they shop in the mall.

Shoppers who spend RM300 in two receipts and score below 50 points will get a mystery gift while those scoring 50 points and above win a premium gift worth up to RM30.

Those spending RM600 in four receipts and scoring below 80 points get to claim the mystery gift and those garnering 80 points and above will win a gift worth up to RM50.

For every spending redemption made during the weekdays, shoppers will receive two tokens to play at the claw machine.

One can stand to win prizes such as Nintendo Switch, Google Mini Homes, Amazon Kindle Paperwhite and PS4.

In the weekends, shoppers will receive one token for every spending redemption.

Children too will have fun with hands-on activities such as a Merdeka keychain painting session as well as workshops on making paper art craft, batik, and windmill.

“This campaign is more than a celebration of our country’s independence, it is also an opportunity for families to come together and enjoy the school holidays at the mall.

“We strive to differentiate ourselves by focusing on the community and providing them with valuable experiences that they will not get elsewhere,” said Sunway Velocity Mall general manager Phang Sau Lian.
