PEKAN: The monarchy in Pahang also functions as a check and balance of the state’s administration, said Pahang Regent Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah.
Tengku Hassanal said this was stated clearly in the Pahang constitution.
