Cash aid to be reviewed

PENANG is reviewing the cash aid given out to the underprivileged under its i-Sejahtera programme.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, in tabling next year’s budget at the state assembly, said this was in line with the Federal Government’s decision to reduce the previously labelled Bantuan Rakyat 1 Malaysia (BR1M) in stages.
