Cheerleaders to enjoy adventurous getaway

WINNERS at Cheer 2018 can look forward to having some fun in a theme park.

Sunway Lost World Of Tambun is sponsoring 80 entrance tickets to the theme park in Ipoh for the winners at Cheer 2018.

The theme park is also adding 800 discount vouchers to the goodie bags for Cheer 2018 participants.

“We believe that all the winning team members have worked their hardest to win.

“As such, a short getaway to Lost World Of Tambun is a great way to reward them,” said Sunway Lost World Water Park Sdn Bhd assistant manager (marketing) Siti Farhana Mohd Ruslan.

“We decided to sponsor Cheer 2018 because we want to advocate a healthy lifestyle for youths. The theme park provides what the cheerleaders need to boost their spirit and stamina,” she said.

Siti Farhana said Lost World Of Tambun has nine main attractions, including its latest addition, the Lost World Luminous Forest.

“Each attraction offers different kinds of fun. For example, our 13 High Rope Course and Wild Woosey in our Adventure Park requires teamwork to overcome the obstacles, just like cheerleading,” she said.

This is the second year that Sunway Lost World Of Tambun is product sponsor for Cheer.

“Cheer is a renowned brand in cheerleading nationwide. We believe in the mission of building confidence through quality routines, creative storytelling through performances and a balanced academic life,” said Siti Farhana.

The finals of Cheer 2018 organised by Star Media Group will take place this Saturday at Quill City Mall (8am-7pm) in Kuala Lumpur.

The event sponsor is Appeton Teengrow while the official venue sponsor is Quill City Mall KL. The prize sponsor is Sunway Education Group.

The other product sponsors are Kao Malaysia, F&N, EIG Pharma Asia, Shopee and Reckitt Benckiser.

The event is sanctioned by the Cheerleading Association and Register of Malaysia (Charm).
