THE Seputeh parliamentary seat has often been described as the “blackest” seat in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur by Barisan Nasional and dubbed the safest seat for DAP.

In fact, MP Teresa Kok won the Seputeh seat in the last general election with the highest majority of 51,552 against Barisan’s Nicole Wong. It was the highest majority registered in the whole country.
