TRAFFIC MATTERS

There will be lane closures to facilitate LRT3 project preliminary works. The affected roads are:

• Lorong 7A, Sungai Kayu Ara, Petaling Jaya until March 26, from 8am to 6pm

• Jalan Bridge 21/64, Petaling Jaya until May 24, from 10pm to 6am

• Persiaran Kerjaya, Shah Alam until May 31, from 10am to 5pm, and 8pm to 5am.

During the closures, motorists will be diverted to the next lane except at Persiaran Kerjaya. For details, call the LRT3 hotline at 1-800-18-2585.

RAMADAN BAZAAR APPLICATION

• Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) will accept online applications for Ramadan bazaar lots this year. Applications can be sent to elesen.mbpj.gov.my until tomorrow. There will be 1,550 lots at 20 bazaar locations this year. For details, call 03-037960 4667/ 9026 or 7954 1560.

• Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) will also employ a similar online application process and it will end on March 30. There are 34 bazaar locations this year. Permit prices range from RM257 to RM347. For details, call 03-5510 5133 ext 1366/ 1317/ 1486. To register, visit www.mbsa.gov.my

STOCK TRADING TALK

A free seminar called ‘Is Stock Trading For You?” will be held this Saturday, from 9am to 1pm, at Beyond Insights Learning Centre, Jaya One, Petaling Jaya.
