PARKSON has made its way to Puchong, creating much excitement for the residents and community of the surrounding area.
Parkson M Square Mall, the new retail and lifestyle hub, aims to provide shoppers with an enjoyable shopping, entertainment and gastronomic experience.
With its modern interior, brightly-lit with spacious aisles, the mall in Millenia City, near Puchong Perdana, boasts seven levels with 32,516sq m of retail space including two levels of carpark.
It plays host to two main anchor tenants – Parkson department store and Foodpark Supermarket by Parkson.
Parkson department store spans 7,246.5sq m of retail across four floors, carrying more than 350 local and international brands that cater to the diverse styles and preferences of shoppers.
The layout on each floor of the department store is designed to allow shoppers to shop comfortably without bumping into each other, and see all products in one sweep.
As Parkson Corporation Sdn Bhd chief operating officer Law Boon Eng puts it: “One eye see all. You don’t have to treasure hunt”.
“One thing to note about Parkson M Square Mall is that it carries products with prices that are reasonable and affordable.
“Our brands cater to the mass market, and in this case, to the surrounding community of Puchong,” said Law.
He added that Parkson has all items a household needs, from women’s fashion and gents wear to children’s toys, and home and household goods.
Located on the ground floor is Foodpark Supermarket by Parkson, a gourmet concept supermarket and food hall.
This novel addition to the Malaysian market spreads across 2,044sq m, offering groceries and daily gastronomic needs for the residents.
Its vintage-chic ambience and warm lights made it even more attractive, and shoppers made a beeline for the supermarket on the first day of operations.
Aside from the two anchor tenants, the mall also has a host of other tenants for shoppers to choose from.
A grand opening ceremony was held for Parkson M Square Mall, attended by Parkson management, guests, VIPs and shoppers.
They were served breakfast, and treated to lion dance and cultural performances. There was also a lucky draw session.
To celebrate the opening, Parkson is extending special promotions and redemptions for its customers to participate in and enjoy with friends and family.
With a minimum spend of RM50 in a single receipt, shoppers get to enjoy one free durian during the “Pesta Durian” which will only be on Jan 26, 27, and 28, while stocks last, terms apply.
Since Chinese New Year is around the corner, activities and performances to be held for shoppers include God of Prosperity meet-and-greet, lion dance and Chinese diabolo performances, and dragon beard candy demonstration. There will also be a Festive Bazaar CNY edition from Feb 2 and 25 for shoppers to buy their Chinese New Year gifts.
