THE Martell Be Curious Dinner series kicked off to a roaring start with a dinner held in Restoran Fui Chuai in Sungai Chua, Kajang.
About 400 guests of Martell – trade partners, dealers, distributors and customers – were treated to a scrumptious eight-course dinner and a free flow of cognac and whisky.
Hosted by Pernod Ricard Malaysia, guests enjoyed themselves tremendously and were in high spirits as they mingled and networked with one another.
Several performances were also held to entertain guests — the Hikaru Live Band, a dove magic show by illusionist JC Yeo as well as a stunning performance by Astro artiste Nicole Lai.
To top it off, an exclusive contest draw session took place, to the delight of diners as the prizes were three Martell limited-edition bottles.

Taking place from December 2017 to February 2018 across cities nationwide including Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor Baru, the Martell Be Curious Dinner series is said to be a revolutionary event.
Aside from showing appreciation to guests for their never-ending support towards the brand, Martell also aims to ignite their curiosity and create a new appreciation and understanding of the brand through the series of 30 dinners.
Pernod Ricard Malaysia marketing director Emmanuel Dokhelar said the whole idea of the dinner series is to communicate to guests what Martell is about — pleasure, indulgence, a bit of fun, and being curious.
“Each dinner in the series will have a similar concept with entertainment and an unsuspected set-up or event and of course, lucky draw sessions,” Dokhelar revealed.
Joining the evening soiree were Martell and Co brand ambassador Jeremy Oakes and Château de Chanteloup hospitality director Jean-Jacques Regnault, both of whom travelled from France to be with guests.
About 400 guests of Martell were treated to a scrumptious eight-course dinner and a free flow of cognac and whisky.
Running concurrently with the Martell Be Curious Dinner series is the Spend and Win contest which will culminate in March 2018.
Guests at the dinner series will need to purchase bottle packages to be in the running to win more than RM450,000 worth of prizes.
Every RM1,500 spent on the bottles entitled one to a token of entry; so the higher the package price or purchases, the more entries received for the contest.
Participants with the highest number of tokens will be invited to the grand finale dinner where the contest draw will be held.
The major prizes for the Spend and Win contest include the grand prize of a Mercedes-Benz E200 Avantgarde (CBU) valued at RM395,888 on the road without insurance.

This is followed by the first prize, which is an all-expenses-paid three-day trip to Château de Chanteloup in France for a fully bespoke experience.
Basking in the historic atmosphere of Martell, the stay includes a tour of the distillery and cellars where Martell’s cognacs are crafted and opportunities to discover the region and its gastronomy.
Participants also stand a chance to win Ogawa massage chairs and sofas, Apple iPhone and iWatch as well as various limited and rare collectors’ editions of Martell bottles.
