KOTA KINABALU: Having fast and steady connection is what every Internet user wants.

Now Sabahans might finally get to surf the net without hassle, thanks to the launch of Maxis’ new plans.

The service, MaxisONE Home Fibre, promises super fast home Internet speeds of up to 100Mbps, unlimited data, voice calls and professional Wi-Fi setup.

For customers who spend most of their time with their mobile phones, the MaxisONE 4G Combo plan might just be the one for them as this plan allows customers an all-in-one home and mobile Internet plan with shareable data, unlimited calls and SMS.

Maxis integrated services head Tai Kam Leong said the company was bringing fibre coverage to Sabah for the first time with unlimited data and voice calls at home.

“In addition to customers experiencing speeds of up 100Mbps, our ‘Maxperts team’ will provide technical services so that everyone can enjoy great optimised WiFi at home,” he said after the launch of the new service.

Maxis postpaid head Arjun Varma said in addition to superfast fibre, customers could enjoy fast 4G service anywhere with the MaxisONE 4G Combo.

“This worry-free, all-in-one solution assures that you are always connected on the fastest 4G network in Malaysia,” he said.

“Since the data usage of Sabah and Sarawak customers are among the highest in the country, this solution will definitely appeal to their data needs,” he added.

Apart from these, Maxis is also giving offices a solution to their slow Internet problems by extending its range of ONEBusiness solutions for Sabah businesses with the launch of Zero Downtime Business Fibre Internet.

Arjun said businesses would be able to enjoy speeds of up to 100Mbps at the office, with a wireless Internet backup.

“The service complements a variety of connectivity, payments, marketing and productivity business tools that Maxis currently offers,” he added.
